Aminah’s latest film, WE CAN NEVER GO BACK, has been selected to screen at three festivals in August.
The film stars Dylan Kussman and Allelon Ruggiero, in their first film together since playing Richard Cameron and Steven Meeks, respectively, in Peter Weir’s, DEAD POETS SOCIETY.
AUGUST 7 – The film will screen in the opening block of the Valkyrie International Film Festival, at Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center in Buffalo, NY. This festival celebrates women directors and Aminah is delighted to be showcasing more of her work with the Valkyrie team. And who doesn’t love an opening night screening?

AUGUST 8 – The film will screen at the California Women’s Film Festival, at the Whitefire Theater in Los Angeles. This festival also celebrates female directors. The film will screen in Block 6, at 8:50pm.

AUGUST 28 – The film will screen at the Lonely Seal Film Festival, at 8pm, at the historic Regent Theatre in Arlington, MA, just outside Boston.
