Had a wonderful time singing with Declan O’Rourke, John Barrett & Rob Zielinski down by the beach for the Fenians, Fremantle & Freedom Festival. We even ended up on the telly! Declan and I each wrote a new song about the historical Fremantle Fenians. He premiered his beautiful song at the beach, then I headed up to Fremantle Prison to premiere mine and sing a few more songs before the commemoration ceremony. I got to sing with Declan again at his solo concert later in the week and yeah, he’s a gentleman. There were some lovely jams in the beach bar to tie off the festival.
