What a privilege it was last night, to be sitting front row in such a beautiful gig in Whelans, Dublin, hearing the strong and clear voices of Dick Gaughan and Seamie O’Dowd before him. During his powerful set, DG performed the song of his that Aminah recorded with Seamie on her upcoming album. It was an absolute pleasure to hear the man himself singing it and great to hear it live – what a vibe! Well done Seamie for a wonderful set and thanks to all involved in bringing DG here. He’s a true gentleman. His tour of Ireland and England is not over. We highly recommend you get yourself down to see him if you can.
