Olé!

What a fantastic gig last night! Flamenco Kitchen catered the delicious three course Spanish meal, while Felip Carbonell and Mike Nielsen provided a wonderful three-and-a-half hours of music (two astounding guitarists going head to head on jazz, Flamenco and everything in between). There was an exceptional jazz harmonica player in the audience, by the name of Padraig Potter, who got up for a few tunes. Of course, Seamie was invited up for a few tunes and Aminah was asked up to sing a couple of jazz songs too. Seamie and the lads finished up the night together on three warring guitars. Couldn’t have asked for a better night of music, but then what else would you expect from these fellas? This gig stemmed from Aminah’s new photography project and she can’t express enough gratitude to the guys for being involved, to Mike for coming down from Dublin and to Felip for organising the gig. Muchas gracias, amigos!
