Tomorrow marks the release of jazz pianist Kieran Quinn’s debut album, Not Just Black and White. The album features 21 Sligo-based guest musicians and some of Kieran’s own wonderful compositions. Kieran is an exceptional musician. He played on 3 tracks on Aminah’s upcoming album and it was her absolute pleasure to work with him again on this album. Aminah recorded one of her songs, “I Got Nuthin'” with a live jazz trio comprised of Kieran, Eddie Lee and Ken “Tonto” McDonald and had a blast with all of the above plus Seamie O’Dowd on the album’s single, “I’m No Adult, I’m a Musician.” Many thanks to Kieran and best wishes for the launch.
