On June 30th Aminah, Seamie, Tim & Danny Carter and a pile of their friends attended a very special Bob Dylan concert by the river in Nashville, TN. Towards the end of the concert Dylan brought fabulous gospel singers, The McCrary Sisters, out on stage to sing with him. The sisters graced Treehouse Studios with their presence last night to sing backing vocals on Aminah’s song, Tell Me It’s Over. It was an absolute pleasure to be working with these beautiful women, who created a wonderful vibe in the studio. Many many thanks to Tim Carter at Treehouse Studios, Seamie O’Dowd, Regina, Ann & Alfreda McCrary and also to Danny, Mama Hazel and Cindy Lu for their generous hospitality during a couple of gorgeous weeks of music, fireflies, deer, rocking chairs, good food and lovely company. Now, off to the fireworks in Downtown Nashville ~ Happy 4th July everyone!
