An eventful day yesterday began with Aminah receiving encouraging feedback on the second rough mix she uploaded from her upcoming album. You can listen to the track here. She enjoyed playing The Model Christmas Cracker with Seamie O’Dowd and Kieran Quinn in what she thought was her last gig of the year, before being invited at the last minute to perform at the Songlines event, where she was accompanied by guitarist Shane McGowan, cellist Anna Houston and Songlines host and pianist Miles Graham before pulling out her flute for an impromptu jazzy jam on the event’s finale.
