“Dear friends, some huge news! I am moving to LA 
I am very pleased to share with you that I will be taking up a role as a Director and Audio Engineer at a Grammy-award-winning studio above the Santa Monica Mountains. The company I’ll be working with produces high end audio books for some of the top international publishing houses, working with A list talent.
I’m excited to be working in the realms of storytelling, working with publishers and authors, directing actors and using my skills in engineering and audio post. I’ll also be working remotely for a company in Albuquerque, New Mexico, as an Audio Producer. And, of course, pursuing my goals in writing, film and music, as always.
As you may know, securing my green card and making this move has been a huge journey. Among other things, it involved travelling during the pandemic, suing two US Presidents and a Secretary of State, becoming fully vaccinated and getting permission to leave Australia.
Sadly I won’t get the chance to perform a final gig or host a farewell soiree, but as I’m sure you can imagine, getting all of this in place has been a wild ride. I’ll be documenting my LA journey on Instagram and telling some more personal stories through my newsletter, so now would be a great time to join my email community.
