Aminah’s vocal performance of original blues song, Tell Me It’s Over, has now achieved Finalist status in the 2020 International Songwriting Competition, dubbed “the songwriting competition to take note of” by the New York Times.
The Nashville-based competition received 26,000 entries last year. Aminah is one of 16 Finalists in the Performance category.
Judges include Tom Waits, Coldplay, Dua Lipa, members of Linkin Park, Sugarland and a selection of music industry executives.
