Aminah was privileged to take part recently in a world first, with the launch of the Virtual Trad Orchestra at the Hawk’s Well Theatre, Sligo. During the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann (All Ireland Fleadh) which will take place in Sligo this August, there will be a ground-breaking performance of Irish traditional song, ‘Down by the Salley Gardens’ by Maura O’Connell, joined by the Virtual Trad Orchestra, which is where you come in! If you’d like to participate in the performance, you can do so from anywhere in the world, by uploading a video of yourself playing along on any instrument, or joining in singing one of the harmony parts.
