This Sunday will present something very special for Aminah’s final performance with the Sligo Baroque Orchestra for the year. She will be singing 7 beautiful baroque songs by Purcell and Dowland, with harpsichord and strings. Included will be songs from 17th Century operas, The Fairy Queen and Dido & Aneas.
Felip Carbonnel, joined by Anna Houston and Kieran Quinn, will be performing music from his new album, recently launched in Mallorca, Spain. Anna will also perform a cello sonata and pianist Tiffany Qiu will perform pieces by Scarlatti, Rachmaninov and Debussy.
1pm in the Atrium at The Model Arts Centre. The Gallery Café will be making great coffee and pancakes and all manner of things. Do come down and enjoy.
