Thom Moore Benefit Gigs & Album

It was a lovely night last night in Whelans, Dublin, at the first of the Thom Moore benefit gigs.

A message from Aminah:

“It felt really good to sing Thom’s songs again but it was sad that Thom couldn’t be there. I met some lovely people – Mary Black (what a sweetheart), Declan O’Rourke (what a lovely fella) – and caught up with a few from the RTÉ session honouring Thom that we recorded back in 2013 – Ronan Collins, Fiachra Trench, Aongus Ralston and of course the men who pulled last night all together, Paul Lee and Gavin Ralston. Shared a microphone with Garvan Gallagher, a laugh with Charlie McGettigan, some beautiful songs with Seamie O’Dowd and many heartwarming moments. All in all a great night. Thom would have enjoyed it immensely.”

We’ll be posting a few videos shortly. The second benefit gig this Friday night in the Hawks Well Theatre, Sligo is already sold out. Do pick up a copy of Thom’s latest album while you’re there; if you’re unable to attend the event, you can buy Thom’s album here. All benefits go directly to Thom. Thank you.
